Our partners at City of Eugene Cultural Services are hosting Eugene's fifth annual celebration of National Dance Week. Oregon’s only citywide dance celebration runs from April 16-23 with activities throughout the city, including at Eugene Public Library:
Dance-themed Family Storytimes
Bethel Branch: Thursday, April 20, 10:15 a.m.
Sheldon Branch: Friday, April 21, 10:15 a.m.
Tap Dance Performance by Adam Kelly
Downtown Library sidewalk: Saturday, April 22, noon - 4 p.m.
Dance Books for Kids
Downtown Library Children's Center: browse a display filled with stories and info about dance.
Plus: new for 2023 is the National Dance Week Passport. Visitors can pick up a blank passport at any National Dance Week event or print their own from the website. Attending any event from the online guide earns a passport entry. After earning three or more entries, the passport may be submitted online or dropped off at the Downtown Library by April 27 to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes from local businesses.
