UPDATE ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6: 

The victim in this shooting is Stephen Anthony Forrest, age 32, of Eugene. He is deceased and Eugene Police is seeking public assistance with Savath’s location. If anyone has tips as to his location, they are asked to call Detective Cliff Sites at 541.682.5147 or Csites@eugene-or.gov. If someone spots Savath they are asked to call 911 and to avoid contacting him.


PREVIOUS INFORMATION: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 AT 1:30 P.M.:

Eugene Police is looking for a person of interest from this morning’s shooting. If you have tips, please contact Detective Cliff Sites, 541.682.5147, or Csites@eugene-or.gov. Please see the attached photos. The male appears to be in his early 20s, has an olive complexion, longer black hair, and is estimated to be approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, with a thin build.

 

The person of interest is associated to a silver Infinity 4-door sedan.

At 2:39 a.m. September 2, Eugene Police responded to a report of a shooting at 590 E. Broadway. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and the suspect left the location in a vehicle and is no longer in the area. Eugene Police Violent Crimes Unit is on scene investigating. Case 23-13092
