Ballot Measure 20-211 PamphletWhen the Eugene City Council voted to place a measure on the May 21 ballot to ask voters to consider a City Service Fee, the Council also directed staff to develop and distribute a neutral information piece informing the public about the ballot measure.
The Oregon Secretary of State, Elections Division, reviewed and approved the pamphlet as consistent with state election requirements. The four-page pamphlet has now been sent to all Eugene residences and is arriving in mailboxes this week.
The total cost for producing and distributing the brochure was approximately $15,000, including approximately $10,000 for postage.
The pamphlet is also available electronically at www.eugene-or.gov/planofaction.
