Ballot Measure 20-211 BrochureWhen the Eugene City Council voted to place a measure on the May 21 ballot to ask voters to consider a City Service Fee, the Council also directed staff to develop and distribute a neutral information piece informing the public about the ballot measure.
The Oregon Secretary of State, Elections Division, reviewed and approved the brochure as consistent with state election requirements. The four-page brochure has now been sent to all Eugene residences and is arriving in mailboxes this week.
The total cost for producing and distributing the brochure was approximately $15,000, including approximately $10,000 for postage.
The brochure is also available electronically at www.eugene-or.gov/planofaction.
More Information and ResourcesA voters' pamphlet containing information about the City of Eugene, Lane County and School District 4J ballot measures, as well as candidate statements, for the May 2013 election has also been mailed.
