[ARCHIVED] Honoring EPD's Fallen Officers - Police Week

Ofc. Kilcullen Unity Tour 2013

Currently, tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge on Washington, DC to participate in a number of planned events which honor those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. There is a contingent from Eugene and Lane County honoring Officer Chris Kilcullen by participating in the Police Unity Tour and Police Week events. The Police Unity Tour is a bicycle ride begining in Portsmouth, Virginia and ending at the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Washington DC to raise awareness about those officers who have died in the line of duty and money for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial.

Eugene Police Department has three fallen officers in its history. Officers Chris Kilcullen, Oscar Duley and Jesse Jennings Jackson.
