All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4.
City of Eugene community centers, libraries, including the book returns, and the Hult Center ticket office will also be closed on the holiday. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7. Amazon Pool will operate on a holiday schedule; Echo Hollow and Sheldon Pools and Fitness Centers will be closed for the holiday.
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on the 4th. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 day a year, although the West University Public Safety Station will be closed on the holiday. Around-the-clock health and safety services such as regional wastewater treatment will continue without interruption. Parking is free for both meters and city-owned garages on July 4, except for event parking.

All city offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Friday, July 5. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Labor Day, September 2.
