Originally located at 13th Ave. and Tyler St., VHP's House No. 5 was purchased by Lane County to make way for Fairgrounds expansion then donated to St. Vincent de Paul, fiscal agent for Veterans Housing Project. It will be a challenging project that got an initial boost from The Home Depot, which has provided a $75,000 grant toward the rehabilitation of this and four more homes.
