[ARCHIVED] City Offices Close for Veteran's Day

All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11.

All Recreation Community Centers, Libraries and Hult Ticket Office are closed. Amazon Pool is now closed for the season. Echo Hollow and Sheldon Pools and Fitness Centers will operate on their usual Monday schedules on the 11th.

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on the 11th. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 day a year. The West University Public Safety Station and the Downtown Substation will both be closed for the holiday. Around-the-clock health and safety services such as regional wastewater treatment will continue without interruption. Parking is free for both meters and city-owned garages on November 11, except for event parking.

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual on Labor Day. For flight schedule information, go to flyEUG.com or call: 541-682-5544.

All city offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, November 12. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Thanksgiving Day - November 28.
