[ARCHIVED] Police Huckleberry Patrol Team receives two new bike trailers from Burley Design

The Huckleberry Patrol Team is part of the Eugene Police Volunteers in Policing program that partners citizens and police in support of our crime prevention and community policing efforts.
Huckleberry Patrol allows volunteers to go out in pairs and document, photograph and then clean or paint over graffiti in the midtown area of Eugene.

In 2007, Michael Coughlin, CEO of Burley Design, donated a bike trailer for the Huckleberry Patrol Team. The team used the trailer to haul their graffiti abatement supplies. After years of use, the trailer needed to be replaced.

Last month, Burley generously donated two new Nomad bike trailers for the team. Nick Coughlin, a Support Specialist with Burley Design, interviewed Huckleberry Patrol volunteers Claudia Carlson and Bob Walker and produced a video, with the goal of showcasing the team’s activities.
