Pool Rules


General Pool Rules

  • Swimming should only occur when a lifeguard is on deck.
  • Please shower before entering the pool.
  • Please walk at all times on the pool deck.
  • Pushing, dunking, horseplay, or other dangerous play will not be allowed.
  • Swimmers may not sit on each other's shoulders.
  • Swimmers who are not toilet trained must wear a reusable swim diaper that is elastic fitting around the legs and waist.
  • These are available for purchase at our front desk. Disposable swim diapers are not permitted in the water.
  • The safest way to jump into a pool is feet first while facing the pool. Shallow areas are marked no diving. Please ask a lifeguard for the appropriate areas for diving. We will not allow any backward entries into the pool.
  • An adult must accompany in the water- non-swimmers under 48 inches. (Amazon pool height is 36 inches). Young children who can pass the swim test are allowed to swim without adult supervision. Guardians are not allowed to take non-swimmers into the deep water.
  • Swimmers must show competency in a swim test before entering deep water.
  • If you have diarrhea, please do not use the pool.
  • Starting blocks are for competition or supervised instruction only.
  • Please stay off the safety ropes and/or lane lines.
  • Please limit your use of the shower and locker rooms to 30 minutes.
  • All quests must exit the building with 30 minutes of the last pool activity.
  • Immunocompromised individuals should use caution when using a public pool.
  • Please keep food, drink and glass items out of the locker rooms and off the pool deck.
  • Please do not chew gum in the facility.
  • No smoking in the facility.
  • We encourage a friendly environment; therefore, profanity, vulgar remarks or disrespectful comments may result in expulsion from the facility.
  • Water and alcohol are never a good combination. Persons under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to use the facility.
  • Animals are not allowed in the facility. (service animals are an exception)
  • Please use the bike rack to secure your bike.

Spa Rules

  • All persons are required to take a cleansing shower before entering the spa pool.
  • Elderly persons, pregnant women and those suffering from heart disease, diabetes or high blood pressure should consult their physician before using the spa pool.
  • No person suffering from a communicable disease, transmissible via water, shall use the spa pool.
  • Persons using prescription medications should consult their physician before using the spa pool.
  • Individuals under the influence of alcohol should not use the spa pool.
  • Persons should spend no more than 15 minutes in the spa at any one session.
  • All children under 14 years of age shall be accompanied by a responsible adult observer. The spa is for adults (14 and over) with the exception of individuals having a doctor's recommendation, and the pool manager's approval.
  • No person shall run or engage in horseplay in or around the spa pool.

Slide Rules

  • Begin descent only when signaled by guard.
  • Patrons should be seated or laying on their back, feet first.
  • You must be 54" tall or pass the swim test to use the slide.
  • Weight limit per slide is 300 pounds.
  • No pushing, shoving or saving places in line.
  • Swimming suits need to be free of zippers, rivets or any materials that could scratch the slide.
  • Only one rider at a time, other than noted below.
  • Children under 54" tall that cannot pass the swim test must be accompanied by an adult and wear a lifejacket/aquajogger. Children must be seated between an adults legs.
  • Do not run, dive stand, kneel, rotate or stop in the slide.
  • Exit splash down area immediately.
  • Splash down area should not be used for swimming purposes. No jumping or diving into splash down area.
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride the slide.

Drop Slide Rules

  • Begin descent only when signaled by a lifeguard.
  • Only one rider at a time.
  • Patrons should be seated or laying on their back, feet first.
  • You must pass the swim test to use the slide. Non-swimmers are not permitted.
  • Weight limit per slide is 300 pounds.
  • No pushing, shoving or saving places in line.
  • Swimming suits need to be free of zippers, rivets, or any materials that could scratch the slide.
  • Do not run, dive, stand kneel rotate or stop in the slide.
  • Exit the splash down area immediately. Do not swim in front of platform/diving board.
  • Splash down area should not be used for swimming purposes.
  • WARNING: Water depth is 13 feet. Non-swimmers are not permitted.
  • CAUTION: for safety reasons, pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride our slides.

Wading Pool Rules

  • Children under seven years of age must be accompanied by a person over twelve years of age.
  • Please walk in and around the wading pool.
  • Swimmers must wear a bathing suit.
  • Anyone with diarrhea should not use the pool.
  • Pushing, spitting, dunking, horseplay, or other dangerous play will not be allowed.
  • Swimmers who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
  • Immunocompromised individuals should use caution when using a public pool.
  • No diving is allowed.
  • No smoking in the facility.
